Those Hilarious Haymans

We have some great and, as they have teasingly pointed out several (hundred) times, underblogged friends that we love to spend time with. Scott, Linda, Abby, Dillon, and Will are some of the funniest, kindest, and most generous people you'll ever meet. Mike and Scott worked together years ago and have always kept in touch, primarily through their shared passion for all things sport. I sometimes refer to Scott as Mike's boyfriend because they talk on the phone just about every day...usually about their pretend football teams (Fantasy Football ranks up there with oxygen and water this time of year). I could tell Scott and Linda would be longtime friends the first time I met them and we spent most of the evening laughing so hard we had a hard time getting our words out. Linda is sweet and compassionate and always has something funny to add to any conversation. And I love hanging out with Scott because he likes to tease Mike about all the same things I do (...like the fact that Mike thinks in a very black and white way. If you say, for instance, there were a thousand people somewhere when there were actually 997, Mike would be quick to point out that there were only 997 and that you are grossly exaggerating.) Scott is hilarious, and needless to say, Mike has to take a lot when we are all together...but he loves every minute of it!

Their whole gang came down to hang out for the afternoon a couple of weeks ago...
Having three children, Linda has been a valuable source of information and advice when it comes to little ones.
The proud papas played with the kiddos on the playground while Linda and I had some girl time.

Haymans, we know you were teasing about your lack of representation on Caroline's blog, but you are very important to us and we are excited that you are now a part of Caroline's life too. Can't wait to hang out again soon!

You are too sweet. We are blessed to have friends that are like family! Dylan can't wait for his sleepover at the Trice's.
I am trying to not tease Mike as much, but after the cow picture...all I can say is wow. Or maybe that's moo. Love, Linda
